Floor levelling and coverings
A good floor starts with a level base. Before laying the covering we check the surface and, if needed, level it.
We lay parquet, laminate, tiles and vinyl flooring in apartments and houses. First we assess the condition of the substrate: an old wooden floor and a concrete base need different preparation.
We agree the direction of the covering, the thresholds and the transitions between rooms in advance, so the floor looks consistent throughout the apartment.

Questions
Frequently asked
Can laminate be laid over an old floor?
Sometimes, if the old floor is stable and level. We check this at the site visit and tell you whether levelling is needed.
How much material should I buy?
Usually a little more than the floor area, because some is lost to offcuts. We calculate the exact quantity from the measurements and the chosen laying pattern.
How long do I have to wait after levelling?
It depends on the compound and the layer thickness. We include the drying time specified by the manufacturer in the schedule.
